Last minute changes (3 hours before maximum) can only be rescheduled by email. In case of emergency cancellation there is a 40% charge.100% will be charged in case of no-show. In other words, if you don't show up for your scheduled tour, no refund will be made, as we will have given your spot(s). We make visits with a minimum of 2 participants. In case you are the only reservation, we will contact you by email to offer you a private tour, change of date or a full refund.

  • Please keep in mind that our tours feature street food, not restaurants. If you're looking for a restaurant tour, let us know, and we'll make it happen. Also, be aware that the itinerary may change due to stall availability and weather.

  • As with any city, eating street food comes with some risk. We carefully select our vendors, spending months visiting and evaluating them before including them in our tour. We ensure they follow strict hygiene and cleanliness standards. However, if you're not accustomed to spicy food, especially early in the day, it may upset your stomach. Please be mindful of your personal limits.

  • If you’re planning to tip your guide, it’s a good idea to bring enough cash—10 to 15 percent is typical. You might also want to carry a little extra if you’d like additional drinks. All the food, plus at least two drinks and purified water, are included in the tour cost.

  • Wear comfortable clothing and sneakers. Avoid bringing flashy or expensive items, like jewelry. Keep in mind that Mexico City tends to be cool in the mornings but warms up in the afternoon, so dressing in layers is ideal.

  • Absolutely! We're thrilled to have you explore with us. While most of our tours require a minimum number of participants, we'd be happy to accommodate you. Just let us know, and we'll work our magic to make it happen. Keep in mind that having a tour solo may come with a slightly higher cost, but the adventure remains the same!

  • No worries, we've got you covered. Just reach out to us at hola@treeptours.com with your specific dietary needs or allergies, and we'll do our best to accommodate you. However, if you have an extremely severe dietary restriction or allergy that involves a high risk of cross-contamination, we recommend not taking the tour to ensure your safety. Please contact us for further guidance.

  • Yeees, we're kids friendly! Please, note that we offer alcohol (adults only) but we can add some extra fun for the little explorers. Your kids will have a blast discovering the city with us.

  • Absolutely! While it's better to book in advance, we understand that plans change. Feel free to reach out, and we'll check our availability to accommodate your last-minute adventure.

  • Certainly, you're welcome to depart early if needed. However, please note that we do not offer refunds for early departures, as it wouldn't be fair to the other participants. If you have a preference for a shorter tour, please don't hesitate to reach out to us in advance. We're flexible and transparent, and we'll do our best to accommodate your needs and customize the experience to your liking.

  • We understand that time can be tricky while traveling. You have a 15-minute grace period. If you're late, don't worry; we'll let you know our current location so you can catch up with us.

  • We've got umbrellas for everyone! In case of heavy rain, we can either provide a full refund or reschedule your tour to another day.

  • Absolutely! We love big groups, and the more, the merrier! We'll be happy to offer you a special discount. If you have a different tour in mind for your group, just let us know, and we'll customize it for you!

  • Yes, we do! If you're looking for a more personalized experience, our private tours are the way to go. Contact us at hola@treeptours.com

This tour was a dream for any vintage lover! La Lagunilla is huge, and our guide helped us go the best spots. I found some amazing retro pieces, and the stop for quesadillas was a perfect break. Highly recommend for anyone who loves second-hand shopping.

I had no idea how massive this market was until this tour! Our guide took us straight to the best stalls, and I scored some amazing vintage jackets. The market can be overwhelming, but having a guide made it so much easier to find what I wanted. The vibe of the place was so authentically local.

Mark W.  - September 2024

This was the highlight of my trip to Mexico City! La Lagunilla is such a fun place, and the guide knew all the cool spots to find unique clothing and antiques. I also loved how the tour didn’t feel rushed, and we had time to really soak in the atmosphere. The stop for gorditas was delicious, and trying a licuachela was definitely a unique experience. A must-do if you want to see the real Mexico!

Shopping at La Lagunilla is an adventure in itself, but with the guide's help, I felt confident bargaining for some awesome items. I’m not a pro at haggling, but I got a few tips that made a huge difference. The food stop was a nice break from the shopping frenzy, and the licuachela was a fun way to try something truly Mexican. I would've liked a little more time, but overall, it was a fantastic day.
