Cancellation.

POLICY

At TREEP we want your experience to be smooth, safe, and enjoyable. Our policies are designed to keep things clear and transparent, whether you’re joining a shared tour or booking a private group experience.

  • For a 100% refund, cancellations must be made at least 72 hours in advance by email at hola@treeptours.com.

  • Last-minute changes (up to 3 hours before the tour) can only be rescheduled by email and are subject to availability.
     

  • In case of emergency cancellation, a 40% charge applies. No-shows are charged 100% as your spot will already be secured.
     

  • TREEP carefully selects its food partners and prioritizes clean and safe options, but we cannot be held responsible for illness or adverse reactions. Please notify us of any allergies or dietary restrictions at least 3 days in advance so we can do our best to accommodate. ​

Shared Tours (non-private)

  • TREEP cannot be held responsible for illness or allergic reactions from food or drinks provided by third parties. Guests with severe allergies should bring their own medication (e.g. epinephrine).

 

  • TREEP may take photos or videos during activities for promotional purposes. If you prefer not to appear on our social media, please let us know before or during the trip.

PRIVATE Tours &
Multi-Day Packages

Reservations & Payments

  • A 50% deposit is required to confirm your booking. The remaining 50% must be paid at least 30 days before the trip/tour.

  • Payments can be made via Stripe, bank transfer, or cash. If you choose bank transfer or cash, please notify us in advance so we can coordinate logistics and confirm your payment on time.

  • If payment deadlines are not met, reservations and prices may be canceled or adjusted.

Group Size & Price Adjustments

  • Prices are based on the group size agreed at booking.

  • Once confirmed, the total cost does not decrease if the number of participants goes down, since logistics and providers are already secured.

  • Adding participants later is possible, subject to availability and adjusted pricing.

Cancellations

  • All cancellations must be sent in writing to hola@treeptours.com.
     

  • Charges on the total package price:
     

    • 30+ days before the trip: 10% administrative fee.
       

    • 15–29 days before: 50% charge.
       

    • Less than 15 days or no-show: 100% charge.
       

  • If TREEP cancels due to provider issues, we will offer rescheduling, credit, or a full refund. For force majeure events (extreme weather, government restrictions, strikes), refunds depend on provider policies and non-refundable costs already paid.

Rescheduling

  • One reschedule free of charge if requested 30+ days in advance and subject to availability.
     

  • Changes requested within 30 days or multiple reschedules may incur extra fees due to logistic adjustments.

Food & Allergies

  • TREEP carefully selects its food partners and aims for clean, safe options.
     

  • Please inform us of any dietary restrictions or allergies at least 3 days before the trip so we can do our best to accommodate.
     

  • TREEP cannot be held responsible for illness or allergic reactions from food or drinks provided by third parties. Guests with severe allergies should bring their own medication (e.g. epinephrine).
     

Insurance & Responsibility

  • Travel insurance is highly recommended. Some packages may include or suggest coverage (details provided if applicable).
     

  • TREEP acts as an intermediary between clients and providers (transport, lodging, tours). Final responsibility lies with each provider. TREEP is not liable for accidents, losses, or damages beyond our reasonable control.
     

  • Participants must behave responsibly and follow guide instructions. TREEP reserves the right to remove anyone who endangers the group, without refund.
     

Damages & Conduct

  • Any damage caused to accommodation, vehicles, or facilities must be covered directly with the provider.
     

  • Participants agree to respect local rules, communities, and the environment.
     

Tips

  • Tips for guides and drivers are optional but very appreciated. Suggested amount: $100–200 MXN per guide/driver per tour.
     

Photos & Media

  • TREEP may take photos or videos during activities for promotional purposes. If you prefer not to appear on our social media, please let us know before or during the trip.
