For a 100% refund, cancellations or changes must be made at least 72 hours in advance via email only hola@treeptours.com
Last minute changes (3 hours before maximum) can only be rescheduled by email. In case of emergency cancellation there is a 40% charge.100% will be charged in case of no-show. In other words, if you don't show up for your scheduled tour, no refund will be made, as we will have given your spot(s).
Please keep in mind that our tours feature street food, not restaurants. You can expect to try gorditas, quesadillas, sopes, pambazos, and micheladas or prepared sodas along the way. If you're looking for a restaurant tour, let us know, and we'll make it happen. Also, be aware that the itinerary may change due to stall availability and weather.
As with any city, eating street food comes with some risk. We carefully select our vendors, spending months visiting and evaluating them before including them in our tour. We ensure they follow strict hygiene and cleanliness standards. However, if you're not accustomed to spicy food, especially early in the day, it may upset your stomach. Please be mindful of your personal limits.
We recommend bringing some cash if you’re interested in shopping at the market, as many local vendors don’t accept cards. You might also want to carry a little extra if you’d like additional drinks. If you’re planning to tip your guide, 10 to 15 percent in cash is typical.
Wear comfortable clothing and sneakers. Avoid bringing flashy or expensive items, like jewelry. Keep in mind that Mexico City tends to be cool in the mornings but warms up in the afternoon, so dressing in layers is ideal.
Yes, we welcome solo travelers!
We know that traveling alone can be challenging—especially when most tours require a minimum group. That’s why we’re proud to be one of the few experiences in Mexico City that fully welcome solo adventurers. No worries, we've got you covered. Just reach out to us at hola@treeptours.com with your specific dietary needs or allergies, and we'll do our best to accommodate you. However, if you have an extremely severe dietary restriction or allergy that involves a high risk of cross-contamination, we recommend not taking the tour to ensure your safety. Please contact us for further guidance.
For safety reasons, we don’t allow children on this tour, as the area can get very crowded. But feel free to reach out—we’ll be happy to recommend the best tour for kids!
Absolutely! While it's better to book in advance, we understand that plans change. Feel free to reach out, and we'll check our availability to accommodate your last-minute adventure.
Certainly, you're welcome to depart early if needed. However, please note that we do not offer refunds for early departures, as it wouldn't be fair to the other participants. If you have a preference for a shorter tour, please don't hesitate to reach out to us in advance. We're flexible and transparent, and we'll do our best to accommodate your needs and customize the experience to your liking.
We understand that time can be tricky while traveling. You have a 15-minute grace period. If you're late, don't worry; we'll let you know our current location so you can catch up with us.
We run the tour rain or shine! We recommend bringing an umbrella or raincoat just in case. If the weather gets too extreme, we’ll do our best to offer a refund or help you reschedule for the following week.
Absolutely! We love big groups, and the more, the merrier! We'll be happy to offer you a special discount. If you have a different tour in mind for your group, just let us know, and we'll customize it for you!

This was the highlight of my trip to Mexico City! We walked around the most iconic spots in Coyoacán, ate so much delicious food, and our guide made us feel like we were hanging out with a friend. Don’t leave without trying the churros — they were fresh and crispy and totally unforgettable.

I had the best time exploring Coyoacán with this tour! The food was amazing — those tostadas and esquites? Chef’s kiss. Highly recommend if you want to eat like a local and actually learn something along the way!
Brandon H. - September 2024
Our guide was super knowledgeable and made everything fun and easy to understand. I loved hearing all the local stories while snacking on churros and sipping coffee. The tostadas were a personal favorite, and the whole vibe of the neighborhood made everything even more special.

I didn’t expect to fall in love with Coyoacán, but this tour completely won me over. The best way to discover Coyoacán — amazing food and such a cool guide! Loved learning about the neighborhood while snacking on local treats. 10/10
